Are there any HR professionals here who found a job outside India and moved there (not through internal transfer or offsite opportunities). If yes, do you mind sharing your journey?
It's difficult for Indian HR. Not because outside India rangoli isn't a big thing in offices.
But because HRs in India are glorified clerks. In the old days all government offices had a role called peon. His job is the move the files from one table to the next.
This is HR today in India.

May be I was wrong. Ask yourself, why would a company hire some one from India, sponsor their visa. Pay premium salary compared to the local, for a HR job?. What is the skill set does a HR bring? What value do they add to the company?. The budget for the team is decided by the business team. R&R activities are based on budget. That is decided by finance.
What do they do that a white man needs to hire from India?
