Job opportunities in Software with 1.2 YOE

Applying for jobs since last 5 months. Hardly got any response yet. Only 1-2 companies responded. What should I change in my strategy of applying, to get interview calls? Now I am even filling out some or the other application every single day. Still no response or resume rejection is what I get.

Can anyone help out?
