Why tf is every job that I am applying to asking for 3-5 years of work experience?
How do I find a job in this market? Nearly impossible to get good pay. This job economy is completely done for good ig.
I'M SOOOO TIRED OF THE WHOLE JOB SEARCH PROCESS NOW!
I no longer have any hope left in me!
The whole job search process itself is sooooo longggggggg.
Now after all this drama if a recruiter calls you and you tell them that you'd left your previous job and you're currently freelancing, they say stuff like, "I'll check with the team if they're okay with freelancers." or, "What was your previous CTC? What's your expected CTC? How come you're asking for such a huge hike?" or the GOOD OLD, "WE'LL GET BACK TO YOU LATER"
I'm soooo fucking tired of this whole drama now. Now they don't even respond to LinkedIn DMs or InMails or cold emails πππ
No matter how much eagerness you show.
And the most annoying are those "Promoted" jobs on LinkedIn π They close off the job opening within 15 hours.
WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?
LIKE THESE COMPANIES ARE LAYING PEOPLE OFF BUT THEN THEY WANT:
WHICH WORLD ARE THEY LIVING IN?
IT'S LIKE A GAME WHERE EVERYTHING IS AGAINST YOU, YOU CAN'T JUST WIN!!!!
I'M SOOOO FUCKING DONE WITH THIS WHOLE BS DRAMA NOW.
I don't even understand how people with full time jobs even in startups manage to get 2-3 offer letters where I'm not even being able to get one.
I'm losing all patience and hope.
I feel ya... No choice but to keep going, though π₯²
I feel like applying for jobs is a full-time job in itself! I too got extremely tired and frustrated with the whole process a few weeks ago, and took a break for some time to blow off steam.
I swear! IT IS A FULL TIME JOB INDEED. Like shortlisting jobs, applying to them - filling up Workday forms π, writing fan fiction, dming recruiters. It's really draining and you also have to keep preparing DSA and System Design and random programming related questions. πππ
βapplying for a new job is full time jobβ- π―
It happens with everyone. One thing we can do is to directly get in touch with them before applying. If they are serious enough you are good to apply.
This is why I built this job board out of tweets and LinkedIn posts. vianetworking.org
Awesome. Thanks for sharing. This really helps!
HRs basically venting out the trauma which their parents are facing in their AM search
I feel your pain brother π₯²
I feel you! ππ
