Joining Intuit as Contractor

Hi community. I'm pondering an option of joining Intuit India as a contractor STPM. Would like to know from current employees how contractors are treated in general and what's the usual conversion to FTE trend and any other constructive suggestions are welcome. Thanks a lot community in advance
