Kalki 2898 AD

My view: Amitabh bachchan holds the whole movie for me. Deepika is good, I don't know what they were trying to do with Prabhas' character. Neither liked the introduction bit, nor anywhere else in the movie where the scene was only showing him. Kamal Hassan, definitely looks good in the character of supreme yaskin.
Story wise: They have tried to create a fictional story by taking bits and pieces of Mahabharata which is really not good at all. I really didn't like the way they have tried to portray certain things in the film. Like, depicting Arjun as too arrogant in the kurukshetra battlefield whereas Karna getting glorified depicting he was better than Arjun , this really was very very very poorly shown, without any context of why the battle of Mahabharata took place for what reasons. Definitely Karna being a Surya putra, and as an archer was one of the best but Arjun was the only Ultimate archer of that time. Moreover, people tend to forget why Karna was punished the way in Mahabharata because of his deeds along with Duryodhana in supporting Adharma as well as in Dyut sabha, where draupadi cheerharan took place. Plus, he got his teachings in a deceitful way from bhagwan Parashurama bcos of which he was killed by Arjuna while he forgot everything about his teachings of an archer. Though karna was a kshatriya by birth, he himself didn't know at that time, and only considered himself as Sut putra named Radhey, bcos Kunti mata left him in ganga where he was seen by Radha maa, who took care of him). But he completely lied about his identity to bhagwan Parashurama saying he is Brahmin, since bhagwan parshuram only taught Brahmin kids Kshatriya Vidya at that time.
My view: Though they tried something through fiction area by using hindu scriptures and history, yet somehow they didn't show the full context and which is leading to misinformation among the people who don't read about Hindu scriptures and history creating rift among ourselves.
VFX: it was good but since the storyline depiction kind of was a big let down , so other things don't matter much.

Watched it today, even after spending so much money .. Amitabh bachan VFX based character looks like cartoon 🌝

The story can be understood better by folks who have knowledge of Mahabharat.

As every PAN India movie now comes in sequels, most of the time, the first part is dragged for character's introduction. Prabhas and Kamal Hasan will drive the second part.
I don't have much knowledge on scriptures. Got some insights from your comments 😃.

One more insight, Arjun was the ultimate archer of dwapur yuga not only bcos of his teachings from Guru Dronacharya but also because he did tapasya of Bhagwan Mahadev, where he first duelled with bhagwan and then by seeing his dedication and tapasya he got the knowledge of Divyastra. He also defeated kaurvas before Mahabharata where Pandavas were completing their 1 year of agyat vaas after their 12 years of known exile. This defeat takes place when in Virata kingdom, where kaurvas tried to capture unethically after their 1 year of unknown exile and Arjun defeat the glorious line up consisting of Pitamah Bhishma, Guru Dronacharya, Kulfuru Kripacharya, Ashwathama, Mama shakuni, and maharathi karna, whereas Arjun was alone only with Virat king's son.

It's worst movie I have seen. Closed TV in 20 min.
