Late Sitting, hence quiet quitting

Our work is divided into our team of more than 10 members. The nature of work is absolutely identical and only the quantum of work varies everyday between us. Once we complete our work, we are expected to complete and help others and even sit late for completing other's work. Due to this situation, it became a belief that if you complete your work early, you will be bombarded with even more work. Hence, some members decided to be mischievous about this and started to work at a slower pace. However, members who were loyal and completed their work efficiently were bombarded with extra work, let alone, be appreciated for their efficiency. Of course, I was one of them. This has led me to quiet quit and give everything to a job, which doesn't even value the work I do.
