Layoffs at Eventbrite
11% workforce affected worldwide, 100 employees totally affected. Around 15-20 folks laid off in India. They have employed around 130-140 employees here in India. And they started India development centre less than 2 years ago.
Entire design team in India laid off! I'm affected too, trying to stay strong and process everything that happened today.
Thats what I have been saying to folks here to NOT join Eventbrite since last year. But nope few EB employees on here just talk about how good culture it is. Stock is down in drain.
I hope you all fine a new opportunity soon, as we remaining people at EB would be booted out soon too in next round of layoffs
