9 hrs day?.. really? this one clause is enough to prove that no law is implemented in India. No judge will take a soumoto case.. No politician will even talk about implementing this.

Salaried people are literllay laawaaris in this country. They exist only for paying jizya.

I would disagree. Chinese youth are silently rebelling through "lying flat" , and it's working there despite govt pressure. Just need to convince enough people to join the movement.

You can always walk away from jobs, no one can legally stop you. But yes, more difficult to do for those who have dependents.

No it's suffering from the majority of boot lickers who are willing to work for more than what they have signed up for, to win the rat race. If I don't do it someone else will right? So you should learn to say no, if you do not have the guts or fell that you will miss out, then it's on you for spreading this work culture equally as on the middle or upper management or may be just your lead.

Just stop working for more than 8 hours.. Be efficient and work when you are supposed to work stop worrying about all office showoffs who come in late and work until 12 am or act like they are working. If you can't handle it find something else that works or you think will work and quit the current job. I know it's easier said than done, but don't let others control your life and remember that your job is not worth giving your life and the EOD companies care only for margin and govt only taxes. So stop running the rat race and if you still run the race try not to kill yourself, thr is always another way...
