MBA/Switch

Wanted to take an opinion/perspective from the experienced folks here

My current project does not have a lot of technical learning. I'm currently fully invested in CAT prep. I'm concerned that if my MBA plans do not work out, I'll have very low technical skills and not be able to switch jobs.

so what, gain ut after done with cat. Side by side just be clear with basic fundamentals about tech that u want to work with if plan fails. That way u wont be async with the tech world

I'm good with basics but I don't think that would help in cracking job interviews. I'm lacking on the implementation/projects end

how much experience u have? if its less than 2 years don't worry. Basic fundamentals are enough for decent companies. If u are targeting cream then that's different story. I have been in the same boat as of you. Took break, after 1.5 years and now joined. Cleared on basic fundamentals. Chill, but basics are very important.

The CAT/MBA isn’t going to help you gain very helpful technical skills too. I think you should already start focusing a small amount of time on PM/Engg/PgM prep if that’s your long term goal.

Yeah that's exactly why I wanted to what type of basics I should focus on. What does PgM mean?

Program management. Similar role to PM but more project management than PM
