Men in tech who are already earning high salaries. Have you married women earning well or housewife or earning very less compared to you(maybe in non-tech). Does you spouse who warns help in your day to day expenses or big expenses(trips,car,gifts,etc) or you take care of most of expenses? And non married men with high salary what you prefer. How is life for men with either of these.
P.S - This is just to get an idea how life and money comes into picture for a couple, I respect all categories of men and women.

My wife earns almost 25% more than I do, through out her career and has better work life balance than I do. She is my guru in terms of coding, i literally proposed her when she was my project lead back in 2018. 😂 I would always consult her for any architectural decisions I take. Though we are in different company from past 4 years.
She needs to be earning at similar levels to what i earn.
Many girls have dreams about life after they get married, mostly on the money earned by the husband. I am not one of those guys who could fulfill those dreams. Neither am i desperate. With both spouses earning enough, there is a freedom to take risks in life (eg: a startup, an unconventional career option ) given you don’t have a wife dependent on you. That is very understated compared to a life where a wife is just dependent on the husband.
Given today’s environment, a wife’s role would be artificially rated higher anyway, so better she actually contributes equally than not. I am fine with getting maids for all household work and if she is busier than me.
Agree with you. But I think nowadays it is difficult to get girls same as you, because they have other set of expectations apart from salary from you. And have seen women settling with men earning less than her, mostly love marriage I guess and not every guy is that much lucky.
Women settling for less is a rare case and more often than not there are other things that are not immediately apparent. Love marriages happen, but not that common unless the status is matched.
What are the other set of expectations?
Married a housewife. Really cooks more delicious food than restaurant, takes care of the kids and my parents, and literally the most contented person I know. Also was the prettiest girl of her colony.
Does she nag me for anything money? Stupid woman even stops me from buying her gifts. Barely checks my finances as long as the kitchen is in order.
