Farming and hunting? If you go back in those times with this mindset. You will have physical, mental and spiritual issues. Even today. The rat race? Maybe we are not utilising the resources around us for our own good. Rather having the attitude of "angoor khate hai" or "rat race". The only common thing is the labels we are putting on our emotions. Working out doing exercises not for physical but for mental health. That can be a starter as your brain would know you are accomplishing something. Wake up early. Take ice cold bath(put ice in bucket). Watch Joe Rogan selective podcasts instead of movies or shows. Use philosophy as a way of life.

Hey! That escape fantasy to farming/hunting life is SO common among millennials and GenZ right now. Your brain is literally screaming “get me out of this artificial stress cycle!”

Press Pause - this isn’t mental trauma, it’s your nervous system responding normally to an abnormal situation. We’re the first generation dealing with constant digital overwhelm + economic uncertainty + climate anxiety all at once.

That “rat race” feeling? It’s because we’re chasing moving goalposts while cost of living skyrockets. Your brain knows something’s off.

Quick reality check: You don’t need to escape to a farm to feel better. You need to create pockets of calm in your current life. Could be 10 minutes of no-phone time, growing one plant, or just stepping outside without checking Instagram.

The money stress is real, but panicking about it just makes your decision-making worse. Focus on what you can control today, not the entire broken system.

Your generation isn’t broken - you’re just the first to openly question whether this hustle culture is actually worth it.

We have people discussing exactly these modern life pressures and what actually helps: https://link.elfinahealth.com/presspause

You’re not alone in wanting something different 💚
