Unka BP high karo. On every feature tell them omg this toh will take more time. Oh God. Message them before they message you. Tell people to whom they will talk that release may not happen. So hard it is.
Yeah put all little dependencies on them to get solved and ask them to properly manage 😂
They actually suffer from with a disorder which is seeking perfection of others. Try to find them as an alternate Leader who reviews your work, take his feedback and work on it for survival!
If you’re in a big company respect them and move on, in a startup respect what they want and act on it if you can/ want
There is this concept of Task Relevant Maturity.
If you have a high Task Relevant Maturity, Basically let your manager know that you don’t need to be micromanaged by setting up meetings with them which gives them them regular updates of what you have already done.
Let your manager micromanage you initially if you don’t have relevant experience dealing with what you’re working on.
