Misunderstand someone

Do you guys ever felt misunderstood someone completely and when you get to talk with them you feel guilty being misunderstood.

They could be your friends or that one person in class where bully.

When you meet them let’s say after your graduation or 5years and get to chat you get the feeling and feel sorry. I had this with one of my friend and i was feeling very guilty
