Most dramatic quitting story?

I’ll go first. The intern sent ‘bye’ on #general and was never seen again.

Boss was about to hand me a big new project and was very excited to grow my career. I came to the same conversation saying ‘I do have some news to share…’

Friend of mine got the hint that there are about to be layoffs. They ended up pre-empting it by resigning the same week 😂😂

They would have gotten more money if they get laid off right?

Yeah, they just felt finding a new role might be tougher if they are part of the laid off group

Had somebody who came into the company - just would not talk to anyone. Tried multiple times to meet with him, chill together, would just end up avoiding all our efforts

4 weeks in, just left without most of us figuring out why

Some clarity he had

Someone I know joined a large AlcoBev company. Didnt receive their laptop for a week after joining. Their boss still wanted her to start delivering with no handover or laptop. Used their personal laptop and figured out things on their own. Boss told them I dont have time for you, figure out the shit on your own. Spoke to HR in a couple of weeks, took the boss on call, and resigned right there on the call.
