Mutual Fund Assessment
Have been investing in MF for the last 2 years, think I need to adjust and remove some of the overlapping funds. Please give suggestions. Have monthly SIP for 10k in each MF, total 50k.

I have these active investments as MF monthly SIP. The percentages are the percentage of money invested out of my total monthly investment.
Any changes needed here?
Remove both Axis ones. Replace them with other small and midcaps
Any reason to remove axis funds? I've heard a lot negative above axis nowadays. What is the reason?
I kept Axis ELSS for 4-5 yrs, tried them for two yrs tax benefit purpose, both the installments underperformed heavily its peers.
Then came Axis frauds where their MF fund managers were fined by Sebi (they did some malpractice in stock market).
Then I also tried Axis midcap sip for 1-2 yrs, it underperformed many of other midcap funds, that too in peak yr of 2021-2022, that was the end of it, I redeemed all my funds from there. For these 3 reasons, I advise everyone to stay off Axis.
I don’t see any value in having mid/small caps from two fund houses. Check the overlaps using freely available tool.
Also, you should evaluate if your portfolio matches your risk profile. Too mid/small cap focused.
I am going aggressive. For very long term. I checked the overlapping, it is not much
I would recommend adding some large cap funds. My recommendation would be to go with some low cost index funds. I personally have Navi Nifty50 in my portfolio.
PPFC already has exposure to large cap companies. I am going aggressive hence not much large cap focused.
Did you try ET Money or IND Money to check the ranking of the MFs? You can pick up suggestions based on that ranking.
You should invest in Mid, Large & Mid and Small Cap category. Contra is also a good category to invest in.
Try and put your funds in 2 funds in each category (due to different investment styles of fund houses)
I'll check out. Thanks
nothing, this is already too many and spread too thin. Rather reduce this and concentrate on some or diversify
Your portfolio is very heavily indexed on mid and small cap - definitely to bring in some large caps here.
SEBI also has recently warned that mid cap and small caps are very over valued, and funds may stop taking investments very soon.
