My college story might help anyone

I was today surfing towards this app and saw a person posting that he had 5.7 CGPA and was highly skilled in dsa and other stuff that reminded me of my first semester story

I graduated from a tier 2 university from Bangalore in core electrical field and i am a 2023 pass out and currently working (not disclosing ) due to personal issues

My first semester was a full okish with okish internal marks as i was new to this place and had a lot of issues like getting adjusted to hostel, the new culture, and people, and my few days went crazy as i had a loss of time and money on new friends and later found them not suitable for myself. The time my midterm was a mess and i was about to get dropped out, but luckily i got saved and continued writing My end semester made a mess, scoring 5.5 CGPA, being second last in my college

After that, I decided to take things correct in my life. first-year chemistry cycle came up and decided to boost up CGPA as they had easy subjects and faculty were easy to approach and covid came sending us home. I completed all my semester exams, scoring 8.5 at that time

  1. From 3 rd to 7th semester, i had support of my core department faculties, helping me get a decent 7.5 CGPA and more stuff under their guidance.

3 conference papers in International conferences

3 Projects 2 majors and 1 mini project for college NAAC accreditation

Won few hackathons like SIH, NIT Chennai and SRM techathon

Presented non-technical papers in multiple colleges across the countries and won prizes

I published another paper in Scopus journal and i work as a reviewer for few journals now too

I also had interview opportunities in my placement with companies like:

DXC, Kyndryl, Dell, Steller labs, India labs, Inteva Products, Zoho, Property pistol

While I completed 8 semesters, i had:

3 Offers (DXC, Inteva products, Property pistol)

Best core project of college

9.5 CGPA in 8th semester

Internship at Inteva: this might be down for many but it is decent for guys.
