Yes don’t mention the financial part. It will signal that you might bounce again just mention generic reason like tech stack or work
Do you think a very serious route like firing would happen ?
Not unless you really mess up your justification.
Hiring is expensive for any business and generally they won’t be willing to to start the loop again. If there were other candidates and they are still available then there’s a possibility but still very rare.
Just give them a solid reason and tell them you regretted your decision and that’s why you applied again and you’re really willing to work in this org.
If they are still not convinced take the L and move on .
They hired you for your skills not because you worked there for a week or not . You can tell them back then the role didn’t align with my goals but now I’m committed to this role and would really give my 100%
Did the company you worked at only for a week create an EPFO record for you? I'm guessing that's how they found out about that company.
No they found out bcoz their system was not taking my PAN since it was previously registered. What do you think will happen ? Anything serious ?
Wait, so you joined the company for a week & left it for another company and again joined back the same company you had earlier worked for 2 weeks, without mentioning you have worked there earlier? Is that correct?
I'm not really sure, but if you're already working then I don't think there should be any issues, especially if you have the relieving letters and all. Hiring is costly process for them too. It would have been an issue if it came up in BGV before you started working.
All the best and let us know what happens!
Nothing to worry about. The onus was not on you to disclose but rather on them to validate (if they have any such policy of not hiring anyone who left too soon).
It might just be a random conversation and you might be worrying unnecessarily.
But say it comes down to the past case, say you had some personal reasons which you cannot disclose. And now you are past that.
Yup. Had the meeting and they weren’t ready to listen. Putting false accusations that I denied about the past experience in this company when I didn’t. Nevertheless got sacked off. Need a job desperately now.
Seems like a bunch of clueless people. Which company is this?
You can also state that its been 2 years since the debacle. You've grown a couple of years in the industry, became more mature and have realized what's valuable in the industry and what is not.
