Hi , can folks here guide steps /suggest how to get SDE role at entry role . I regret giving 2 yrs a career for the civil services exam. I graduated with BTech in 2021 . If I had only sat for college placements at my Tier 1 college, I wouldn't have been living with regrets. I have been doing projects in the MERN stack . I also have skills like Postgresql, Trpc and am familiar with using ORMs and type validators like Zod . Since I had no previous experience at internship or full time , no companies are shortlisting my profile .

You need to manage atleast 2 yrs of finance if you want to pursue full time. But , getting job after gap yrs is hell of journey and nightmares. And your college starts becoming less important . Best way is to study along with job. If I had to give advice to my younger self , I would have completely dissuade him from govt exam .
Does Deloitte take off campus , no experience guy but strong projects/CV for entry sde?
