Need suggestions from HR's

I'm currently part of the Wipro WILP program, and in the next 8 months, I'll be completing my M.Tech. Over the past 3 years, I've gained experience in the industry, but unfortunately, I haven't been able to work on projects aligned with my Data Science skill set.

Given this, I'm considering a switch to another company where I can work in the Data Science domain.

I have a question for the community: ➡️ If I switch, can I apply as a fresher in Data Science despite my prior experience in IT based on my Mtech degree?

➡️ What kind of salary package can I expect with 3 years of overall experience, even if my primary experience isn’t in Data Science?

Would love to hear insights from those who have made similar transitions!

Make sure you have strong fundamentals and get yours basics thorough. And Salary completely depends on the type of company you would be joining. If it is a service based MNC then you can expect anywhere around 8-14 LPA (based on the interview performance) , if it is a product based company it can go upto 17-20 LPA( again the interview should be extremely impressive to get these offers). Start preparing and start giving interviews as well. That would help you a lot. All the best.
