non mba, pm at a traditional nbfc

business/finance major, graduated in 2019, been working for 3yrs and 10 months, have doubled my salary since I started my career in 2019. Exploring options- masters in India only as abroad is expensive and doesn't make any sense in today's market. Have seen the fintech space closely boom as a 20y.o fresh out of college, and since then I've worked across sme financing, education financing, b2b credit card payments and now again back to education financing for a traditional nbfc. My roles have varied from strategy and operations, to investor relations/nbfc treasury to product management (current role) I wanted some advice/opinion from the community whether to continue on my career path or switch to masters- take a break of 18 months study from a great school and get back in the industry. Also, if I explore the later one then apart from the isbs and IIMs of the world are there even good 1 year mba programs in india?

Hi folks, looking seriously for a job switch as a PM primarily in the fintech space. Highlights about myself: -> I have ~ 3.5 years of work ex. -> Entrepreneurial stint in the wealth management space where we were trying to build an AI assistant to automate everyone' s personal finance. -> MBA From ISB post closing the startup due to regulatory slowdown -> Wanted to get a PM role in the campus placement but, due to market conditions, got a job as program manager in a lending startup. I had high hopes from it but it turned out to be utter disappointment on many levels. I know the market is not great right now but I am optimistic that it's not that bad. Any help or referral would be really appreciated :)

Hi, I know it’s a much debated topic but I wanted honest views of my fellow grapers/viners/grapeviners. How valuable is an MBA as a PM? What are the trade-offs - MBA vs Non MBA? Does it affect the career 10 years down the line? About myself: I’ve 3.5 years of work experience as a PM in the BFSI sector. I did my engineering from a tier 1 institute and started my career as a PM. Currently wondering what to do next. The learning experience in the current company has been below par as of today with no signs of improvement. I would like to explore VC, PE but I’m happy with PM too. If you are pro MBA, bonus points for suggesting any relevant courses. If against, then please suggest any upskilling resources 🙌🏻 TIA

So in sept 2022, i made the reverse switch that is Startup--->traditionally run nbfc. The current co. Where I work is operational since 2017, profitable (~PAT of 30crs) With 3 years and 10 months of work ex I'm currently reporting to the business head and I'm the only product manager/owner for their new business unit. Current hikes have matched the nbfc standards however the CTC still feels on the lower end. Looking for some advice on what the fintech/new age nbfc's have on offers. Ps my current CTC post hike (within 7 months) of joining is 9.2LPA. My background is non tech

Hi All, I'm working as a PM in a private bank. Prior to this I had worked as a Business PM in another bank 😅 My experience is that work expectations, KRAs of bank PMs are not in line with what is standard. Mostly stuck with meaningless work, getting very few conceptual projects. Feel like I am a glorified BA, who receives additional shit shovelling from senior mgmt. Unable to get in depth experience in any vertical. Earning 20LPA, experience 2.8 years. Need advise should I move out of PM and target Biz roles?
