Not sure of title but..

I am starting with the programmatic or coding side of Salesforce development. I am out of touch since last 4 years and even then i was not a coding wizard. It feels overwhelming...and such an impossible task... I guess what I want to ask is...when you coders look at any use case or problem....does solution always come to ur mind easily? I am talking about basic cases too. And efficiency...and perfect code... Does your mind race ahead too..?presents n number of blockers and start thinking about solutions for them, making the code complex even before writing a single line on the editor?

How to deal with this...i feel like I don't know the solution or approach to any question i see.....please help...
