Note taking - reference compiler app
Anyone here uses Notion? Are you consistently using it? Is it really better than compiling my notes/plans in google docs? Please do mention any other similar good apps/resources.
Obsidian
I try noting everything I learn from videos or books into obsidian. Not using it for general note taking (I use Apple notes for that) like capturing notes from meeting, quick research etc but rather making my knowledge database (PKM) on obsidian. I love the concept of Zettlekasten.
I’m relatively new to this but I like it. I also feel noting things uses the Feynman approach to learning so helps with better retention.
Obsidian all the way. It can change your life in ways one cant imagine. Seemingly simple learning curve, beautiful linking methods etc. If you are a little tech-savvy you can setup your own sync etc without needing to trust any vendor.
Also being open for plugins and themes just makes it that much better
Great to find another obsidian user!
I’m curious, what use case do you take notes for and which plugins are you using?
Joplin
Need a good note taking app.
I use notion but its very slow. Few things takes time in notion.
I can use obsidian, but the problem is sync?
Which note taking app do you guys use??
What's your favourite note taking app ?
I've tried several note-taking apps and finally settled on Joplin.
