Offer letter not sent
I had an interview with a reputed startup based out of HSR layout in Bangalore. I finished all the rounds, including with CEO. I even had the compensation discussion call with the HR. They requested my ID proof(PAN, Adhaar, salary slips, increment letters etc) as well. The HR told me that they would send out an offer letter in 2 days. When I reached out after 2 days, she said they are awaiting approval from the CTO, so wait until the end of the week (so makes it 7 days delayed)
Then, even after 10 days, they have not responded.
Why would anyone do this?

Hey, something similar happened to me.
I cleared all the rounds and they said they will move forward with my application for offer release, after a few days they told me they found different candidates(apparently better than me) and chose to move forward with it.
Shit happens 🤷🏻
Chill, you will find many other opportunities that would be better than this, just keep working hard, will make it soon!
