Online Placements: More About Risk or Luck?

A month ago, a well-known company visited one of my friend's universities for an on-campus placement drive. They set the eligibility criteria very high to filter out students. However, they conducted all 3-4 rounds online, and as tech students, we all know how easy it is to find ways to cheat in such situations. Consequently, some undeserving students got placed. Believe me, they are students who don't even know basic fundamentals and programming syntax properly.
