Wanted you to validate reality -

Do 12th Marks really matter in getting into IIMs? If someone has 78% in 12th, but 10th(>90%) and Engg(> 8.5 CGPA) are pretty good. Will they be not able to get into old IIMs?
Heard that big4 takes people only who have been to IITs before their stint at IIMs. Is that true?
Do you think a person from tech should go do MBA if their intention is to earn money?
