people here are of only club pub types no one is grounded. No one talk about festivals,Really want to meet someone who share similar thought
Let's talk about Dusshera.
Have fond memories of going with my brother to different places in my hometown where major Ravan dahan used to happen.
Was always excited to see which place had the highest Ravan. It even used to come on newspapers.
During dahan, the announcer guy saying Ravan's pride going to dirt and stuff like that. Fun times
Yeahh!!!
"Aur yeh Raavan apne ahankaar mai bhasm hota hua" "Yeh Raavan nhi, Raavan roopi buraio ka ant hai.." "Aaiye Aaj Dussehra k iss pavan Avsar pr hum sb apni buraio ka dahan kre" "Aur humare beech aaj padhare hai Manviya Vidhayak ji, jo khud apne haatho se iss Rakshas roopi Raavan ka ant krenge..%
And that artificial evil laugh of Raavan on speaker.. and the Mela ofc..! The craze was different..!!! The quest to search for perfect place :))
Huh, good old days!
It really used to hit different. Festivals were the time when whole family used to come together. As a grown up, living in another city really missing that vibe.
I don't like most of the hindu festivals. They are full of noise pollution as if we didn't have it already. I enjoy diwali only for the light and sweets. I like holi for the sweet. For the last few days there is a pandal set outside my home. They continuously play "pop bhakti songs" loudly and interrupt my meetings. Last month they were celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi, before that something else and before that some other annoyance. These are not festival, these are hooliganism.
Its not a thing for everyone so chuck it. Whats your idea of peace and satisfaction?
