People who reduced IG/Smartphone usage, how did you do it?
It’s clear to me that this isn’t good for me. My interaction with the outside world and being in the present is inversely proportional to how much I use IG/smartphone.
IG is obv the strongest drug, but in general want to be more conscious about what I do on my phone, when Inuse it.
Looking for genuine advice. Please help 🙏🏻

I've set timers for 19 apps in my phone by digital wellbeing 🤷 It'll help in long run

I uninstalled IG and FB 2 years back and I have been happy as ever. I was going through something and as a result I uninstalled it but it's the best decision ever. I adopted a pet, I spend time with my friends, I go to the gym, I try to work on something productive every other week, I try to eat healthy. Now when I see the weekly mobile usage report and if this week says that I used my mobile less than last week I get so happy. Work on yourself rather than seeing fake people working on themselves by exhibiting fake images and products.

Uninstall ig app al and use it on mobile browser. Even better is touse ig only on desktop browser (since desktop time < time spent on mobile).
Did this for IG as I hate the time sunk and repetitive lame stuff reels are. They get you lost for hours but are so forgettable. Watch reels on mute and they will appear really lame - you can start transition this way.
Regarding reducing mobile screen time - don't buy the high end smartphone with better display or refresh rates. Prioritise what 2-3 things you really need & buy a decent reliable one. For me it's calling, utilities and camera - so bought a Pixel 6a for 25k in bbd, which serves well for 2 years.
For other video consumption - move it to TV or laptop. If you have the money and want comfort as you grow older, why watch YT, or movies or shown on a small mobile screen. I screen cast YouTube from my laptop browser to TV during my dedicated leisure hours.

If you are that addicted to SM, then consider reducing it steadily by uninstalling the apps and allowing yourself to spend some time initially through the browser. And set time restrictions for those sites as well. And the cherry on top is to install onesec app which will make you breathe and make a conscious decision when your finger automatically clicks the browser.
Also remove those apps and browser from the home screen.
Point is to make them less available in combination of multiple techniques

Hi Tomato, how do we get a job in the SAP organisation? I am a SAP Consultant in MM. How did you crack ?

It was an oncampus placement for me. I just joined fresh last july so no idea how the consultant to regular job switch happens.
I'm a backend dev, and really don't know what consultants do. So I'm sorry I didn't answer you properly :(
