Promoting a B2C app on Twitter. Need advice.
Hello everyone we’re hopefully going to be launching our MVP by the middle of January. Before that we wanted to market our app on Twitter and create some buzz.
We are going with Twitter because that’s where we think we will have the best ROI. Indian Twitter is essentially a cesspool of folks from top Metro cities, who have high disposable income and are super opinionated— which is our TAM. Plus, I am assuming that it should be way cheaper than Instagram Ads.
Wondering if anyone on grapevine has any advice on how to go about growing a brand’s Twitter page.
Would really appreciate it if anybody here could help me out.
Can discuss what we are building on email where I am reachable.

I would start by having a tweleb pose your problem statement as a question for their followers. Seed marketing works very well where a bunch of twelebs get your product and talk about how its super exclusive, invite only, thanks for considering me, etc. time these tweets well along with regularly posting content on your handle. Handle content can be..unveiling various features (with links to a dedicated blog page), running polls for opinions related to your product and most importantly jumping on twitter trends. Example: asking people to RT (example, if i sell books I post a pic of my bookshelf and ask people to RT with theirs. People love such easy to do, velle trends). Time this with ads, more paid tweets and it should help.
