Resigning from TCS

I am a Java Backend Dev with 5+ yrs of experience. I am not happy working in TCS. I want to resign but I have only completed 1 year here. I don’t have any offers in hand. But I reel like once I resign, I’ll feel inner peace. Looking at the current market conditions, shall I go ahead and do it.

Resign without an offer? That's like jumping off a plane without a parachute. Don't be a fool, get a job first.

If you have enough money to be jobless for few months (worst case), have your liabilities sorted out, then why not?

I don't know your technical skills level. But I can suggest you to take a shot and give one interview. You'll understand where you're in terms of getting a new job.

You should try to get an offer in hand first and then you can try for more offers once your notice period is less than 45-60 days.
