Returning joining bonus

How to return the joining bonus? If we leave a company before the mentioned time period in an offer letter? Do they cut from salary ? Or do we have to return explicitly? I joined Accenture a few days back but not liking the project here and they are not even allowing me to change the project, so now the only way remaining is to change the company. If anyone has any idea regarding returning joining bonus please guide/comment.

Make sure, you account this in your ITR filing next year. Reason when you got the JB tax has been deducted but you got to pay complete so you’ll have to declare this and get exemption in ITR.

For me it was deducted from my full and final settlement. (Last month salary)

Not returning joining bonus

Let’s say I leave a company after 2 months. What would happen if I don’t return their joining bonus.

They have a clause in offer letter that says I should return the amount if I leave before a year.

Accenture bonus

HR in Accenture said he will provide me both joining and relocation bonus but after joining confirmation he said joining and relocation bonus depends on project and for now they are not going to provide. Is it normal or he wantedly said it?
