Hardware in India has not matured yet. There is potential if you want to start a company but there is a ton of pain in this career if you join a job. Be careful.
We do that at my company, most of the stuff is inhouse, but scale is small
In many fields it is, Hydraulics yes, Embedded maybe not, but most of the stuff is there, actuator motors etc there are options.
