Seeking an advice
Hi Everyone,
I had an interview with Capgemini and successfully cleared all the rounds. Before the interview was scheduled, I had requested a compensation of 15 LPA, as I have 5.6 years of experience in ETL testing.
After clearing the interview process, the HR handling documentation contacted me again to discuss salary negotiations, stating that the maximum they could offer was 13 LPA. I reiterated my expectation of 15 LPA. She mentioned that she would seek approval from the project management team.
A few days later, she called back and informed me that the requested amount had been rejected and that they could now offer only 12 LPA. I am currently earning 10 LPA in Chennai, and 12 LPA in Bangalore would not be a meaningful upgrade, considering the cost of living. I explained this to her clearly.
She responded curtly, saying, “If you want, I will proceed; otherwise, ignore it,” and abruptly ended the call without proper courtesy.
Kindly suggest what should I do now?

You also ignore her

If you are working, then ignore this offer and try another offer. If you don’t have any new option or currently not working then go with this offer, now days getting interviews calls is very tough.
