Seeking Feedback: Handling Unprofessional Behavior in IT Support Teams
Hey everyone,
We’re currently dealing with some challenges related to our IT Infrastructure team, specifically around communication and professionalism. The team has been essential in keeping our systems running smoothly, but we've noticed recurring issues with their approach, which often feels dismissive, rude, and at times unprofessional.
While I understand IT can be a high-stress environment, these interactions have started to impact our work culture and other teams' morale. I wanted to reach out to get some insight from other companies:
Have you experienced similar behavior from your IT support teams?
How have you addressed issues related to communication and professionalism with these teams?
Are there any best practices or policies you’ve implemented that helped improve the situation?
Any advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to hearing your experiences and suggestions!
Start by paying them a decent salary. And cancel your chatgpt subscription
Paying an employee is not my job. No wonder, you are a PM (of that kind "Kaam Na Karo Na Karne do"). Stop assigning your work to others (as usual). Thanks for your value "less" Comment and I must inform you that a Chatgpt subscription is not required for framing useless emails (work of many PMs), it's free for now. 🤣
