Should I Join TCS ?

I'm a BCA 2024 graduate, I got an offer from TCS as Graduate Trainee for 2.8 LPA.

I'm thinking of joining it and upskilling myself and leaving after the probation period( 1 year).

As of now, I'm mid at coding, but I can pick it up fast, should I join TCS and upskill myself or should i spend the next 6 months on my skill then apply somewhere else?

I've heard TCS isn't for Freshers.

help me out.🙃

People who say tcs is not for freshers are fools. You shouldn't be in TCS for more than 2 years. But it is a decent company.

They also have internal exams like digital and innovator, where packages are 6 and 10 lpa respectively.

P.S: this is not TCS endorsement post. I don't have any affiliations with them, nor planning to join them. Your quote "TCS not for freshers" made me post this

Join and upskill.

Learn development and try for pure development roles in if you can spare time and have no financial issue at family. But also job market for developer role is competitive and tough now so you have to put massive efforts. If you join service based companies like TCS, Infy then for ur first switch you might require experience of 2-3 years of experience unless any startup which is hiring urgently even 1 yr experience guys. Also during ur 2 -3 yrs in TCS no assurity that you will get good development projects.Go for TCS only when other options are exhausted and for worst case scenario.

At this point of time I suggest you to join which ever company is onboarding you first, If you have any other offer better than this than you should be concerned.

Joining a startup vs TCS fresher

I am an intern at a startup is is good. The culture and people are not fun but good things to learn. I am a final year student what should i choose.there is a good chance to get benched at tcs but i am not sure if i will learn good thing...

Need Suggestions/Recommendation

I am passing out this year , I have a tcs offer(3.36 LPA) , whether I should join this or by looking at market conditions should I prepare for government exams( I am really tired by applying and not getting a response).
