There is an argument that many developed countries use language tests to allow immigration to their country, including USA, UK, Germany etc.
Logically, Indian states expecting minimum language learning for leveraging opportunities should be okay, right?

USA and Germany are completely different country which asks other nationals to do so.. Karnataka is asking people of the country of which it is a part to do so... Other nation citizens need USA and Germany so they Listen to them.. India does not need Karnataka to tolerate it's tantrums...
Secondly, What Germany and USA does is permissible as per their Laws and regulations .. The day Indian constitution will make such rule then it will depend upon rest of Indians if they want to learn Kannada or not....

Entitled ones like you need to get down from your high horses and show a little more humility towards local cultures. And yeah, India absolutely needs Karnataka. Its not a mandatory by any standards , English is an international language and in Germany it's not mandatory to learn German to practise job etc etc.Some courses however may require German language proficiency but KARNATAKA is NOT A COUNTRY ITS A STATE IN A DEVELOPING COUNTRY. Native language will only help you blend into the local community,it doesn't really change ANYTHING ON HOW WELL YOU'LL ACE IN YOUR JOB/SKILL. Please don't drag random trolls of twitter on grapevine.

bangalore vaise bhi kafi crowded ho gaya hai, and look at other beautiful cities (state capitals) of India ! for eg, Jaipur - it has 50 engineering colleges but all students go to bangalore, pune, mumbai, hyd, gurgaon for job.
