Sugar alternatives in milk tea?
I'm addicted to having tea everyday to the point I get withdrawal symptoms if I miss
Non sweet tea irks me, but processed sugar is not good
Can you suggest alternatives? "Healthy"
Google suggested honey 😒 dumb Also me don't like cinnamon, so that option gone
Use gudd (jaggery) or brown sugar
Jaggery tea tastes 🤮
What? You can't be serious.
The amount of sugar you take in tea is not a lot. Unless you drink 5-6 cups of tea a day.
And no sugar is not bad. It’s just sucrose man. Please don’t buy into these new age fad pseudo science shit that ill-literate and exploitative influencers peddle.
Drink tea without sugar. And drink it often, like 3-6 times daily as per your routine intake. After a couple of weeks, it would get normal. I am a tea addict and drink tea atleast 4 times during workdays.
Once you cut sugar out from tea, you will start enjoying flavour of tea to the fullest. I rotate between masala, ginger, pepper, elaichi, clove, lemongrass. Ditto for coffee.
Me too!! Tea without sugar tastes like real tea, the ginger, the elaichi, the tea’s taste, all those tastes real good. I have reduced sugar to almost 80%, from last 1+ year. My 100 gm of sugar has been there for 3+ months now. 500 gms sugar bought in 2022 had lasted 1 whole year. I do take sugar with Tea, but I take just a bit for taste, like less than a quarter spoon, must be two pinches 🤏😄
Exactly, I like a pinch rather than 2 spoonfuls of sugar earlier. Cannot stand the oversweetened tea now that my parents serve at home. Makes me giddy
