Switching during Layoffs!
Hey guys,
I was planning to switch to another company for Germany location. I have 3 years of experience in CyberSecurity - Consulting Considering the recent layoffs from giant companies, I am considering switching within Big4 firm will be the safest option.
What do you guys think?
Also if not Big4, what other company could be a good option? Like Capegemini or Accenture or McKinsey etc etc???
Thanks in Advance!
Don't know about consulting job abroad (ye mere domain ke bahar hai), but if you want to be in a leadership position 8-15 years down the line I'd suggest not moving to Europe. You'll stay at the same hierarchy for many years unless you're very fluent in German/French etc and at cultural ease as their regular citizen.
Hi, Thanks for the reply. German language toh nahi aati, online basics se start kar raha hun slowly. My plan is to go and work for 4-5 years and then come back. But not sure which company to look for outside Big4!
This isn't true. You see tons of Indian guys at partner level in Europe. Not to mention you can always switch to other places. India is the hardest place to climb in consulting companies due to high competition and lower income generated by their Indian offices . ...and you can always study the local language in 3-4 yrs let alone 8-15 yrs.
Check MHP, Mercedes, Audi, SAP etc. More traditional mittlestand companies going through digital transformation as well because of the job security aspect in the current market.
There should be a downvote option here. Why was the need there to post this in 3 places as well as mark it as trending? Misleading.
Why is growth so slow in Europe? Is it cultural issue for Indians or geographical issue
