Taking Loan against property to invest in stock

I was thinking to leverage my parents home and take out chunky 1 cr @8.6% with premise to make 15%+ in direct equity and mfs.

Asset belong to my parents with some contribution from me. I feel this is a relatively low cost capital way to get initial corpus and in long run gains will payback principal.

I am earning well enough to payback 0.5-1 lpm worth of emis annually

Does this sound as a wise plan?

Never a good idea unless you have absolute skin in the game.

Start with 5-10L. If you cannot make money on this capital over time let's say 2 years. Certainly you won't be able to do it with crores.

Like in every other area of life, you begin with an end in mind - End of the worst kind.

So ask yourself this question: If you lose your 1 CR tomorrow, would you and your parents live the same kind of life you live today ?

Good luck.
