Job Description: This position is seeking a candidate who will play a vital role in supporting the communications efforts of Udyogini by creating and disseminating compelling content, engaging with stakeholders, and raising awareness of our organization's mission and activities.
Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation: • Assist in creating high-quality content for various platforms, including social media, website, newsletters, and reports. • Write and edit articles, blog posts, press releases, and other communication materials. • Ensure all content aligns with Udyogini’s brand and messaging guidelines.

Social Media Management: • Manage and maintain social media accounts. • Plan and schedule posts, and engage with the online community. • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to improve our online presence.

Media Relations: • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and influencers. • Assist in drafting press releases and media pitches. • Coordinate media coverage of events and initiatives.

Website Management: • Update and maintain website content, ensuring it is current and engaging. • Work with the team to implement website improvements.

Graphic Design: • Create visually appealing graphics and visuals for online and offline materials. • Ensure all design work is consistent with organisation's branding.

Newsletter and Email Campaigns: • Develop and send out regular newsletters to the subscribers. • Maintain email lists and segment them for targeted communications.

Event Support: • Assist in the planning and promotion of events and activities. • Provide on-site support during events as needed.

Unfortunate reality of roles in Communications / PR - associate roles are >5yrs experience and director roles are >10yrs experience
It’s a non profit organisation. They are trying to get the most with little, which is understandable if they aren’t corrupt. Anyone applying would already know that they’d have to work twice as hard for little pay. That is, if they read about the company before applying.
Sometimes roles are so similar that only years of experience is the major differentiating factor. The other part is that someone who has done it for 2 years might be earning more than the one who done for 5 years and we all know who might get considered first
