I will start: Invact Metaversity. Led by Tanay Pratap and Manish Maheshwari (very senior ex Twitter guy). They were building a B School which would be in the metaverse.
They raised $5Mn in seed!
Cut to 5 months later, founders had a falling apart, nothing worked out. Tanay continues to run it in some form.
Made life changing money in NFTs and Crypto , retirement goal preponed by 10 years. Finally retired in 2024 at the age of 39 thanks to peak bull. Still invested (20% of nw only)in few good projects actually building something and plan to join them to get ready for next bull

Was given the mandate to look at web3 as a sector - peak 2021/22 market, you were falling behind as a fund if you didn’t invest in crypto, NFT, metaverse, DAOs
Sourced a lot of deals, NONE made sense still had to build false conviction since didn’t want to look stupid to my Partners.
A DAO startup raised a 10million seed - got flacking since I said this doesn’t make sense, we still invested.
They eventually pivoted, no marks for guessing what they do now
