Top level executives exit?
Is it a choice or a force?
I somewhere heard PocketFM leadership was forced to exit. Is this accurate? I am curious, why so many leadership exit in start ups(Upstox, Swiggy, Zomato, PocketFm etc). Good leaders are made to exit and bad to worse leaders are continuing eg: Cars24, TimelyAi, Dukaan, Apana, Slice etc
It's common across the board. In addition to your lost there are a couple dozen more names where good leaders have made frequent exits.
Once you've experienced what a good work environment is (I refrain from using culture because that takes some time cooking), one senses toxicity and causes of very quickly. Most quit on their own because they don't want to be part of a shitshow. That coupled with half baked business execution is a double whammy.
Which company or startup in your option has great vision and mission ?
Indian StartUps - most of them don't spend time on building a vision / mission 😂 that is superfluous activity.
But in my very limited set of interactions - Aether, Delhivery, Pine Labs, Pepper, ideaforge, etc.
None in the above list are perfect and have their own kinks - but they're a little more centered than most.
Also - PayTM, Zomato, etc - despite the bumps in the road and the ofd cultural shortcomings are executing at massive scale - that says something!
Yep. Confused
