Soft skills (Leading by influence). You need to understand when and how to influence members in other verticals and how to get them to trust you for the skillet that you bring.. Push too soon and they will feel that you are just stamping your authority Push too late and you end up not doing the right things for the product
Asking silly questions like a 5 year old when new in a product
be good at program management
Many new PMs think that their main job is to escalate when they are blocked on something. Shouting fire, fire, fire instead of trying to put out the fire is an instant formula for all the engineers to hate you. :)
