The problem isn't India not having enough jobs.
The problem is people not wanting to do them in India but would do them gladly abroad.
Going abroad is associated with prestige in their respective localities, no matter the which country and situation they end up in.
Just few days ago, a flight was sent back from France and those people had paid 50-70 lakhs each just to land up in Amrika.
Going abroad is mostly about prestige and secondly about lure of financial incentive.
I think this is a different issue, issue of prestige is real. But in this case availability of jobs even with minimum wage is getting difficult.
People don't want to do job in India because for the same amount of work they will get more money abroad.
Such a sad state of affairs. đź’”Even more heartbreaking is people will bring politics here as well and start the blame game instead of actually doing something.
True, that's the case in most nations who were ruled over in recent history.
The ability to be a doer and initiative taker has gone for a toss.
But yeah, slowly and steadily it's changing and for everyone's good.
But the pace it which is happening is very slow, and if managed efficiently it can happen at a way better speed.
I am born and brought up in Haryana, now let me come to the unemployment issue, Haryana has no shortage of work, people from Bihar and UP come here for work, just check the property prices and real estate growth in Haryana, the issue is the obsession of great lifestyle and going abroad. NRI culture, big cars, this attracts youth to take on these paths to get this lifestyle.
Whatever the reasons maybe, people in India are not paid well enough so they stop looking outwards.
and this headline is instigating plus written in bad taste, according to some other news outlet 550 people showed up for the first day for this test, which is comically smaller number than the walk in interviews at Bangalore or Hyderabad, as authorities try to prevent stampede
They're expecting 3000 folks to appear throughout the 6 days event, more iti people come to L&T alone for electrician or fitter job whenever there's open bharti.
There's nothing surprising about this.
Ok, many people might label me a “bhakt” after reading this but will still take the risk.
We should first try to answer why more & more folks from Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat go to kaneda, aastralia or nuji land? (But not from Bihar, UP or MP)
Unemployment is more in Bihar, UP, MP.
The reason - The current generation (from Pb, HR) wants to take easy path and get rich quicker. All those punjabi pop singers have further glorified the mustang culture. These folks force their land-rich parents to sell family land and get visa by hook or crook. They don’t study, learn any skills and go to western countries for quick dollars. Reality hits them bad once they land and understand the real situation.
Having said all this, not discounting the UNEMPLOYMENT issue our country is facing. At the same time, opportunities are vast. Some direction and hard work it takes to make living here. Government spending is all time high, hopefully they make better employment opportunities.
