URGENT | Compensation Improvement Advice Needed for Google

I recently cleared my L3 interviews for Google with ratings of H, SH, H, H. The Recruiter responded with the following compensation package, stating that the Compensation Team advised this is the maximum they can offer. I also have a competing offer from DE Shaw with a total compensation (TC) of over ₹48 LPA (₹34 L base, ₹14 L bonus).

Here’s what was offered to me:

Base: ₹23.5 L Stocks: 40,500 USD for 4 years Joining Bonus: ₹3 L Retirals: ₹1.9 L Performance Bonus: ₹3.5 L This totals to a TC of ₹44.6 LPA, calculated as ₹23.5 L (base) + ₹3 L (joining bonus) + ₹3.5 L (performance bonus) + ₹1.9 L (retirals) + ₹12.7 L (stocks for 1 year).

However, I’ve seen posts on LeetCode suggesting that TC could reach ₹48-50 LPA. I urgently need better compensation for personal reasons, but the recruiter said they can't do much to improve the offer. Is there a way to request a special approval or make a case for better compensation?

Could someone advise on how to effectively push for a higher compensation? Is there any way to request special approval or escalate this to get a more competitive offer? Any strategies or insights on how to negotiate this would be greatly appreciated.

In my personal opinion when a Google recruiter says they really can’t push the comp more they’re saying the truth.

The only thing that can move this up is some proof that can potentially go back to the hiring committee and exceptions can be sometimes made. But not often.

Have you shared this with the recruiter? Your other offer? If yes what was the reply?

@Micheal_Scott I did share the competing offer details with recruiter, he went back to comp team and he says they reverted stating "They can't help much , as the offer has been maxed out". But I see other posts saying people were getting 48L-50L , I feel the stocks offered to me are not great and can be improved, Is there some way I can achieve this? Would another competing offer make some difference?
