Any 40+ Grapeviners here?
Wanted to say Hi, what do you do, how do you see current phase of your life, how do you look at your career so far, and what do you plan to do in next 5 years, etc.
It’s easy to fall prey to negativity and gossip. In that we may lose sight of the good we have in our lives. Let’s take a moment to acknowledge and be grateful for that once in a while. Here goes mine -
I’m grateful that I find joy in learning and discovering new things. I like reading and knowing about so many different things for no reason.
What are you grateful for?
My parents, They have been so loving and supportive throughout my life.
To all the people because of whom I'm able to write these words, be present here on this platform, don't need to worry about money at least when it comes to day to day expenses.
Come from a farming background, studies in Hindi medium till 12th, lot of people supported throughout the journey and still supporting thank you from bottom of my heart!
Parents- no words to write here
Brother- like my parents single handedly did everything and made me who I am.
My wife- who understand and stand by my side, respect and love for my parents, understand their struggle.
Friends- real champs who never ever forced me (like I don't drink) for anything, always there to help
Banks & Govt- who provided me the education and funding supported when needed the most.
India- you beauty thank you for everything!!
Lovely answer :) in the day to day hustle of getting to the next milestone we sometimes forget all the stars that have lined up for us to get here. Thanks for sharing
I am grateful to everyone in this country working towards helping people like lawyers fighting human rights case, journalists who actually question the government and hold them Accountable, movie/book creators that showcase all the good in the world(trust me, it's still not enough), comedians (especially ones who do political satire). Without these people, I would've absolutely gone berserk in thinking what kind of world I am living in and if does anything really matter! I thank them and am grateful for them in this world for being a light in darkness.
My parents, my uncle and all the people who were rude to me(they have turned to be amazing friends with me) Ofc people in my life who have been there when I needed them, whom I relied on to understand life in better way, I am grateful for them as well. My ex, who was truly an absolute delight and such a sweet soul. I am also grateful for the Privilege I had gotten to be well looked after by awesome parents and the Privilege of education empowerment which I see so many still strive for! Last mention, to all the musicians /artists who light up our world when we watch them. Absolute delight! Special mention to Pharell Williams(Happy!) Thanks @Toph56 for this post. Wanted to write and hear me say this myself!
Beautifully captured. Negativity is more viral that once in a while when we step back and think about where we have gotten to, there’s a lot to be grateful for 😇
Just being alive and whatever I have got. No point thinking more or less.
My parents, my sister and my friends.
