I think it's a common trait I have found among developers most of them are introverts The only people they can call friends are their online gaming buddies on Discord
Join cricket or football groups. I literally cold dm'd folks who put pictures on Instagram of turfs, saying do you have another slot, I've been to a few cricket games on weekends. Nice to get to know new folks.
