What inspired you to become a Product Manager?

I really wanted to build great products and have a say in how they would be built. To thrive in ambiguity and find relationships between causality and features is an addictive feeling. What about you?

I loved using new apps and understanding how they worked. I still download new apps every week and see what new things are companies doing.

Eternal learning mindset is very important

What kind of apps do you download? Do you just go to the Play Store/ app store and download apps or you download apps which you've heard about?

I enjoy connecting dots, finding correlations. Realised over a period of time, my superpower is finding information out of thin air. Exploiting my super powers my making decent money & learning new things every day.

Same. And then I realised. What a trap this superpower is. Your manager expects you to be ready with answers 24x7. How many dots will you connect out of thin air? Even if 1 dot remains unconnected, that beautiful solution can quickly turn into a nightmare. If made live, then it's a personal disaster.

Are you able to do that the way you had hoped for? I also wanted to do that, but then am a bit skeptical about the PM role.

Yeah I’m able to do that. Ofcourse there is oversight but you can do great work

Can you please briefly share how a regular week looks like for you?

Founded 2 startups at the beginning of my career, had a solid foundation on building things from scratch right from writing code, to designing pixel level details to doing pitch decks for investors. So PM was the obvious choice after my attempt at my failed startups
