What is up with these unreal expectations?
Hi, fresher here and just browsing linkedin and opportunities that are available in the market. I have recently come across this trend by all the companies almost of having some unreal expectations for the jobs that they have to post. These are some entry level roles and demand experience? How is that supposed to work?? Idk if im wrong here but the example im sharing is a product analyst role demanding 7 years of experience? Am I mistaken to see this as absurdity? Seen this with all the product roles as well, ns about other entry level jobs.
Please let me know if I’m missing any information that I need to know or if there is a reason behind such demands.
Thanks for reading.
It’s just a function of demand and supply. There’s just a ton of supply right now which makes it an employers market. Also expect to see a reduction in comp levels as ppl are desperate to get any job.
So there are people with 7plus years of experience and applying to these jobs?
Are the market conditions really that bad at the moment?
There could very well be. Why else would the TA folks be so confident about such stringent filtering criteria
Copy paste the whole thing in chatgpt and ask him to frame a resume what of it. Filter out few lines and apply.
Will try next time
Oops feel sorry for the freshers
