What kind of career end outcome should a consultant in a Big4 company expect?

I’m in my early 20s, I’m not from a fancy college, I do work hard at my job and use it to enable other interests - mostly sports, movies, traveling.

Got into tech consulting at PwC out of college and I wanna know what the average end outcome of my career would look like? - the savings / net worth, the final kinda retirement role I can expect.

While I do hope to land in an above average career path, I’m not very cut-throat person and I have no plans to move abroad (Swades gang).

Really appreciate if someone knowledgeable can help out.

The question you are asking is a very complicated one. Big4 pays average salary in the start upto 3-4years. You may not save much till now. Most of the money goes in certificates and unskilling. 5-6 years is when you start to make money. Again most of the savings gets exhausted if had a marriage at this age point.
7+ you start to think about buy a car or flat/house:

Post 10 years of experience you get better money and you can think continuing in big4 or switch to other companies(product or service).

20year of experience should have cleared up your home loan and made some decent savings for retirement.

Now if there are any expenses (health, travel, existing loans) things can be seen on a case to case basis
