a very close friend works at pocket fm. We got into discussions. Recently a random article by TMC was published on struggles of pocket fm.. turns out things arent bad at all. Company is doing well and is now focusing on profitability by reducing costs on marketing by going the mindful way. All decisions are being tested by leaders and looks like profitability is on the table.
I’ve heard they are not profitable as India unit and only got lucky with a few copied titles which played out in the US market.
I bet they’ll have to shutdown in 3 years if not sooner
How is PocketFM's culture? Looking to join. Media reports show they are doing very well, especially in the US which is very surprising given its very young. What's the secret sauce/catch? 😛
